Cookie Policy

Blue Seas Fishing uses limited browser storage to operate requested features. We do not use advertising cookies. Optional Google Analytics measurement loads only after you select “Allow analytics.”
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics records page views and feature interactions so we can understand traffic sources and improve the website. Microsoft Clarity provides aggregated interaction patterns, heatmaps, and masked session replays that help us identify usability problems. These tools load only after you allow analytics. We do not intentionally send fish photos, identification notes, email addresses, passwords, or payment information. You can decline when prompted or clear this site’s local storage to be asked again.
Essential session cookies
When you create an account or sign in, the website uses a secure session cookie to keep you authenticated and protect member-only functions. Disabling this cookie prevents login, membership, and billing-management features from working correctly.
Local storage
Your browser may store preferences, membership-interface state, free-use counters, and fish-identification location or notes on your device. This information helps preserve settings between visits. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls, but doing so resets those preferences.
Payment services
When you choose to purchase or manage Premium membership, Stripe may set cookies or similar technologies on its checkout and customer-portal pages for security, fraud prevention, and payment processing. Stripe’s own privacy and cookie notices apply on those pages.
Managing storage
You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Essential website functions may not work after doing so.
